Hello to all of my friends and neighbors in Northeast Alabama. My name is Pam Ryan. I grew up in Ohatchee, Alabama and completed a BS degree in Biology at Jacksonville State University. After college, I moved to Atlanta, Georgia and worked many years at Emory University and The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention developing vaccines and diagnostics. I graduated from The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Go Dawgs! To all of my Alabama fans, I am your choice for a veterinarian that is not an Auburn grad. Auburn fans please don’t fret as I grew up crying “War Eagle”, and I love all of my AU tiger colleagues.
For more than 20 years I have practiced in multiple small animal hospitals, and you’ve likely seen me around. I’ve worked in general practice and emergency. However, I recently realized that over-scheduled practices just don’t allow adequate time for in depth veterinary concerns. Therefore, I’ve decided to try a slower and less stressed approach to veterinary medicine. It is my honor to be welcomed into your home and serve your family.
