Preventive medicine: A proactive approach to keeping your fur baby healthy.
Canine Adult Wellness Visit
Time for your best friend to see the doctor? Let us come to your home and fully examine your adult dog, perform yearly laboratory testing and vaccinations.
Puppy Wellness Visit
Dr. Ryan gives your puppy a "nose to tail" physical exam, all needed vaccinations, testing for intestinal parasites and administer a broad-spectrum dewormer. We also trim nails and discuss puppy training strategies.

Kitten Wellness Visit
A wellness checkup for your kitten includes core vaccines needed to preserve your animal's health. We also perform a testing for feline leukemia and FIV, as well as a fecal check for intestinal parasites and administer a broad-spectrum dewormer.

Feline Adult Wellness Visit
Does your "purr-fect" pal need an annual exam? Take the stress out of the event by letting us come to your house and take care of it. Annual bloodwork and fecal testing included
Multiple pet discounts available
Litters
How wonderful it is to have litter of puppies or kittens! So much fun but they are so vulnerable to diseases at this age. Full health examinations, group fecal testing and deworming, and vaccines available for $200 + $38 per vaccine.
House Call Base Price
Additional costs depending on services provided:
- Nail Trim: $25
- Anal Gland Expression: $20
- Suture/Staple Removal: $10
Problem Visits
If your pet is unwell, these services may be needed to diagnose the problem and render an effective treatment and follow-up plan.
House Call for a sick pet
If your pet isn't well, we will come to your home and examine your pet. We can diagnose a wide range of pet illnesses. A solid diagnosis will lead to a good treatment plan.
*Prices vary based upon the diagnostic tests needed and the severity of the pet's condition.
At Home Euthanasia
End-of-life care done gently and respectfully.
1-25 pounds - $200
26-50 pounds - $250
50-100 pounds - $300
101+ pounds - $350
Urgent appointments will be accommodated, if possible, with a $200 deposit applicable toward final cost.
Urgent Care After Hours
Normal business hours are Monday-Thursday 8 am till 6 pm. If your pet is acutely ill after hours, give us a call @ (256) 452-4197.
Note: A $300 deposit is required before the appointment can be confirmed. That fee will be applied to your final bill. The final price will be affected by the cost of diagnostics and treatment.

Heartworm Testing
Yearly heartworm and tick-borne disease testing done in the home.
Complete Blood Cell Count
When pets are ill a measure of the complete blood cell count is critical to checking for evidence of anemia and infections
Chemistry Panels
Monitoring the function of kidneys, liver, pancreas, and major electrolytes are key to maintaining optimal health and monitoring chronic disease progression.
Fecal Analysis
Intestinal parasites are very common in our area and most of them are microscopic, so you never even know your pet has them! A yearly fecal exam is necessary to maintain healthy pets
Ultrasound
Ultrasound imaging done in the home!! Great for pregnancy checks, evaluation of internal organs, and checking for fluid in the abdomen and chest.
Feline viral testing
Testing for Feline leukemia, Feline immunosuppressive virus (FIV), feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), herpes and other upper respiratory infections can all be tested at home
Telemedicine
Perfect for re-check exams, check incisions, other minor problems. A valid patient/client relationship must be established prior.
